To follow from what John Wood wrote recently about 7 great exercises that he enjoyed doing, i'm posting my own. These are exercises I love for the results they give but also (To steal from mr wood), exercises I actually "Enjoy" doing.
1) Narrow Grip Palms facing pullups. High reps with a hard scapula squeeze at the end of each rep. Fantastic!
2) Kettlebell snatch. Great grip and endurance developer and a near full body workout to boot.
3) Deadlift. The King as far as i'm concerned. Improving my DL allowed my BP, Squat and one arm pushup to improve without focusing on them....must be all that muscular tension.
4) Bent over barbell rows. One of the first exercises I was taught.
5) Heavy Barbell back squat. A big squat always feels like a great achievement, a real right of passage in training.
6) Military press. Classic, still forgotten (In many Circles) lift.
7) Double kettlebell clean and Jerk. A Smoker when done for reps! Eat right and sleep and you will grow.
